Welcome to Hayward House Renovations ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website www.haywardhouserenovations.com.au (the "Site"), booking our services, attending our workshops, or joining our digital spaces and memberships, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully. Effective Date: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

      By browsing our Site, submitting an inquiry, booking a service, purchasing a workshop ticket, or signing up for a membership, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Workshop Waiver, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Service Offerings & Estimates

  • Custom Painted Furniture & Kitchen Cabinets: Our services involve custom, hand-crafted, or spray-finished painting of your existing furniture and cabinetry. Because every piece of wood or laminate is unique, final results may vary based on the original item's material, age, substrate quality, and condition.

  • Quotes and Pricing: Any pricing provided through the Site, social media, or via email is an estimate based on the information, dimensions, and photos you provide. We reserve the right to adjust final pricing if the physical piece or kitchen layout differs significantly from the description or requires unexpected structural repairs.

3. Client Responsibilities (Furniture & Cabinetry Condition)

  • Ownership: By commissioning us to paint cabinetry or a piece of furniture, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the item/property or have explicit permission from the owner to alter it.

  • Condition Disclosure: You agree to disclose any known structural defects, water damage, grease buildup, woodworm, or previous unstable DIY finishes before we begin our preparation work.

4. Intellectual Property & Media Release

  • Our Content: All text, images (including before-and-after transformations), logos, and designs on this Site, within our workshops, or inside our digital products are the property of Hayward House Renovations and are protected by copyright laws.

  • Media Release: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we reserve the right to take photographs and videos of your furniture, kitchen cabinetry transformations, and workshop participation to use on our Site, social media, and marketing materials.

5. Communications & Newsletter Consent

  • Newsletter Sign-up: By opting into our newsletter subscription, completing a contact form, booking a workshop, or requesting a service quote on our Site, you provide your explicit consent to receive promotional emails, updates, workshop announcements, and marketing communications from Hayward House Renovations.

  • Direct Contact: We may contact you directly via email, phone, or SMS regarding your specific inquiries, quotes, workshop bookings, or ongoing projects.

  • Opt-Out: You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails or newsletters at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us directly at hello@haywardhouserenovations.com.au.

6. Digital Membership & Facebook Group Acceptance

       Should you choose to join our community spaces or purchase our digital products, the following terms apply:

  • Annual Digital Library Template Membership: By purchasing this annual subscription, you gain a limited, non-transferable license to access and use our digital templates for your personal use or standard business operations. You agree not to resell, redistribute, sub-license, or share access to these templates or library resources with third parties. Annual memberships automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date.

  • Facebook Group Community: By joining our private Facebook Group, you agree to adhere to our community guidelines, which include treating all members with respect, refraining from spam or unauthorized self-promotion, and protecting the privacy of fellow members. Hayward House Renovations reserves the right to remove any member from the group at our sole discretion for violating these rules.

7. Limitation of Liability (Services)

       We take the utmost care of your property. However, Hayward House Renovations is not liable for structural failures inherent to old, antique, or         poorly constructed furniture/cabinetry that manifest during the standard preparation (sanding/stripping/degreasing) or curing process, unless        caused by gross negligence.

8. In-Person "Learn to Paint" Workshop Waiver

       By purchasing a ticket to or attending an in-person painting workshop hosted by Hayward House Renovations, you (the "Attendee") agree to               the following release of liability:

  • Assumption of Risk: You understand that workshops involve hands-on activities, including the use of sandpaper, prep chemicals, paints, waxes, and various hand or power tools. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including the risk of personal injury or damage to clothing and personal property.

  • Safety & Conduct: Attendees must follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor. Hayward House Renovations reserves the right to ask any attendee to leave without a refund if they act in an unsafe or disruptive manner.

  • Liability Release: You release, waive, and discharge Hayward House Renovations, its owners, and instructors from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, sickness, or property damage occurring during or as a result of the workshop.

  • Allergies & Sensitivities: It is the attendee's responsibility to notify the instructor of any severe chemical or dust allergies before the class begins. Protective gear (like masks or gloves) will be made available where appropriate.
